Brand Evolution during the 2020 Pandemic
In 2020, the world took a drastic turn due to the COVID-19 pandemic, challenging the world's economy due to the closure of the doors of commerce to protect people's health. This phenomenon has dramatically affected the beauty industry since it is one of the areas that has the most physical contact with the public. This led Elizabeth Beauty Salon to reinvent itself and go from only providing services in its branches to allowing its collaborators to be part of the company by acquiring a franchise with which they could start their venture in the beauty world.
Of the 11 branches nationwide that were in shopping centers such as Metrogalerias, Metrocentro San Salvador 8va Etapa, Metrocentro San Salvador 1ra Etapa, Metrocentro Santa Ana, Plaza Larista in Sonsonate, Av Roosevelt in San Miguel, Plaza Merliot, Paseo General Escalón, Cascadas Mall, Soyapango Shopping Center, Metrosur Shopping Center and Lourdes Metrocentro. As owners of the brand, we only had six branches, including Metrocentro San Salvador 8va Etapa, Mall Cascadas, Plaza Mundo Apopa, Plaza Merliot, Av Roosevelt San Miguel, and Centro Comercial Soyapango, and the rest were franchised.
Corporate social responsibility
At Elizabeth Beauty Salon, we have connected with our community and are committed to our society. Every three months, we visit the San Francisco de Asís Nursing Home in AGAPE in the department of Sonsonate, where older adults are the protagonists of our services.
